Alice’s Table, a popular virtual floral arrangement platform and a subsidiary of 1-800-Flowers, has suffered a data breach due to a misconfigured Google Cloud Storage bucket.
The breach was first identified by Cybernews researchers in April during a routine investigation. The exposed Google Cloud Storage bucket contained 37,349 files, including 10,183 XLSX and CSV files with personally identifiable information (PII). The compromised email addresses included not only personal accounts but also corporate emails associated with major companies such as BCG, Pfizer, PwC, Charles Schwab, and government employees, increasing the risk of phishing, identity theft, and other cyber threats.
This breach exposed sensitive personal data of over 83,000 customers. The exposed data includes:
- Names
- Email addresses
- Home addresses
- Order details
