Clothing company Levi Strauss & Co reports data breach

Levi Strauss & Co., an American clothing company, has reported a data breach that affected over 72,000 customers.

The breach occurred on June 13, 2024 due to a credential stuffing attack which uses compromised account credentials from other leaks and test these credentials against Levi's sites.

Exposed data is declared as "names and other personal identifiers", but it can be reasonably assumed that names and emails were exposed.

Levi Strauss & Co. notified affected customers electronically on June 21, 2024. Despite the severity of the breach, the company has not offered identity theft protection services to the impacted individuals.
