Cryptocurrency portfolio manager CoinStats has temporarily suspended user activity following a security breach affecting 1,590 crypto wallets.

CoinStats reported on June 22 that the attack had been mitigated and the application was temporarily shut down to isolate the incident. The breach affected 1.3% of all CoinStats wallets, while none of the connected wallets and centralized exchanges (CEXes) were impacted.

No details are disclosed about the nature of the attack.

CoinStats did not disclose the full extent of the wallet compromises but assured users that the application asks for read-only access to connected wallets, keeping user holdings "perfectly safe." They have advised users to move their funds immediately using their exported private keys.
