The breach occurred on December 12, but the information was only communicated to patients on the afternoon of January 18. Concerns are mounting over the potential misuse of this sensitive data, particularly for blackmail, as it includes detailed health records like diagnoses, treatments, and other private medical information.

Crace has not disclosed any details about the attack nor the number of affected individuals.
