Michigan Masonic Home (MMH) in Alma, Michigan is reported its second security breach within two months. The Michigan Masonic Home, also known as Masonic Pathways, is a not-for-profit senior living community located in Alma, Michigan

The incident involved unauthorized access to two employee email accounts, with one account compromised from July 30, 2024, to September 12, 2024, and the second account from September 5, 2024, to September 11, 2024. After discovering suspicious activity, MMH secured the accounts and launched an investigation to determine the scope of the incident.

MMH is performing an ongoing review of potentially compromised data and evaluation of data security policies and procedures.

Exposed Data includes:

  • Names
  • Social Security numbers
  • Dates of birth
  • Medical record numbers
  • Diagnosis information
  • Treatment information
  • Physician information

The number of affected individuals is not disclosed.

The organization is providing written notifications to affected individuals and offering guidance on protecting against identity theft and fraud. MMH has established a dedicated assistance line operating Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 8 PM (excluding holidays) on 1-833-799-6134.
