Doctors Imaging Group, a radiology practice in Florida is reporting a data breach that compromised personal and medical information of over 171,800 individuals.
The cyberattack occurred over a one-week period between November 5, 2024, and November 11, 2024. Hackers infiltrated the healthcare provider's computer network and copied files containing patient information from the compromised systems. The breach was discovered when Doctors Imaging Group's security monitoring systems detected suspicious activity on their network.
The investigaton and review of affected files concluded on August 29, 2025. The organization officially reported the incident to regulatory authorities, including the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, on September 24, 2025. The exposed data includes:
- Patient names
- Residential addresses
- Dates of birth
- Social Security numbers
- Financial account numbers and account types
- Patient account numbers
- Medical record numbers
- Admission dates
- Health insurance information and details
- Medical treatment information
- Medical claim information
The nature of the attack is not disclosed.
