Frankel Loughran Starr & Vallone LLP (FLSV), a New York-based accounting and tax advisory firm, reports a data breach after a network disruption first detected on December 12, 2025.
Attackers gained access to FLSV's internal network and disrupted system availability for several weeks. The investigation, conducted with external digital forensics experts, confirmed that the unauthorized party moved through the network to access files containing client and employee data. Intruders maintained a presence or caused disruptions from mid-December 2025 through late January 2026. The compromised data includes:
- Full names
- Social Security numbers
- Financial account numbers
- Driver’s license information
The nature of th attack and number of affected individuals is not disclosed.
FLSV notified the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and is offering 12 months of complimentary identity monitoring and credit protection services to affected parties.
