A hacker group listed National Auto Loan Network (NALN), a California-based vehicle finance firm, as breached on a data leak site on January 14, 2026. The group claims to have stolen a large volume of files from the company's network. 

The attackers claim they exfiltrated 600 GB of data during the breach. NALN, which has not yet confirmed the incident or issued a public statement.

The number of affected individuals, the types of exposed data or nature of attack are not disclosed. 

The law firm Strauss Borrelli PLLC is now investigating the event. They are looking into whether NALN failed to protect the privacy of its customers.
