LockBit claims attack on Tura Scandinavia AB

The cyberattack was announced on the dark web, where LockBit claimed responsibility and set a deadline for Tura Scandinavia AB to pay the ransom. Tura Scandinavia AB is a Nordic company specializing in the distribution of accessories in the consumer electronics sector, particularly in areas such as Audio and Video.

The LockBit announcement included sensitive information about the company on the dark web, including claims of having full access to Tura Scandinavia AB’s corporate network, login credentials, and passwords for various services. The LockBit group asserts that the attack was successful due to multiple security weaknesses in Tura Scandinavia's network, such as a lack of monitoring systems, antivirus programs, and firewalls. They claim that the company's failure to address these vulnerabilities and refusal to comply with their demands led to the decision to sell access to the compromised network.

Tura Scandinavia AB has not commented on the attack, so  details of the attack, including the possibility of a ransom payment are unconfirmed.
