The dark web page of the ransomware group LockBit3 has listed the leaked data files apparently stolen from BlueWaters. Blue Waters Products Limited, established in 1999 in Trinidad and Tobago, has grown to become a leading brand in the Caribbean for bottled purified drinking water.
LockBit had set a deadline of December 09, 2023, to release this data after initially uploading the files on December 07.
Cybersecurity experts hav verified that one of the shared links contains a 3.4 GB file filled with company information. Upon a preliminary review, the file contains various personally identifiable information, including passport and credit card details.
The data release page features ten unique links for downloading the data. Each link leads to a differently titled zipped file. The files released are named
- bank.zip,
- confident.zip,
- credit.zip,
- data.zip,
- hr.zip,
- insurances.zip,
- mdp.zip,
- passports.zip,
- salary.zip,
- visa.zip.
Among these, the bank.zip file is the largest at 4.7GB, while the data.zip file compresses 3.4GB of information.
There is no published statement from BlueWaters, so there is no clear confirmation whether the data is from the company or not, or how many individuals are exposed in this breach.
