The company provides claims administration services for self-insured funds, groups, and employers, specializing in delivering workers' compensation benefits to employees injured on the job.
The breach occurred in February 2025 when an unauthorized individual gained access to the company's systems through a remote connection. The security incident was attributed to a subcontractor's failure to follow established security protocols.

- Residential addresses
- Social Security numbers
- Dates of birth
- Medical records
Risk Management Services discovered the breach on June 19, 2025 and began notifying affected individuals by mail on August 29, 2025. Risk Management Services is providing 12 months of complimentary identity theft protection and credit monitoring services to all affected individuals.
