Lumen is a telecommunications and technology provider headquartered in Monroe, Louisiana. The company offers fiber-optic and high-speed internet services, enterprise IT solutions, and edge computing infrastructure.
Lumen first became aware of the security breach affecting its IT network on January 17, 2025. The company secured its systems and launched an investigation. This investigation revealed that unauthorized access to Lumen's computer network occurred between November 15, 2024, and December 4, 2024, and that sensitive consumer information was exposed during the incident.
