Medicalodges, Inc. suspected Data Breach Affecting Patients' data

Medicalodges, Inc. reportedly experienced a cybersecurity incident in April 2023, potentially resulting in a data breach that may have exposed patient information, including Social Security numbers.

Medicalodges, which operates facilities in Kansas, Missouri, and Oklahoma, was targeted by the Karakurt Ransomware Extortion Group, Medicalodges acknowledged the incident but CEO Scott Hines stated that they are still investigating whether any personal healthcare data was breached and have enlisted cybersecurity experts for assistance.
