Community Services of Missouri, a probation services provider is reporting a data security incident that potentially compromised the personally identifiable information of certain client-probationers with felony records.

The incident was detected on July 21, 2025, when Community Services of Missouri became aware of technical issues affecting a server that contained a personal information belonging to clients who have felony records. The investigation with outside cybersecurity specialists confirmed that an unauthorized actor had potentially accessed or stolen data from the organization's server. 

The compromised data includes:

  • Full names
  • Social Security numbers
