Network180, also known as Kent County Community Mental Health Authority, experienced a phishing attack that potentially compromised the personal information of about 59,000 past and present employees and clients. The breach, detected on October 18, 2023, after unusual activity was noticed in a user's email account.
The compromised data includes:

- driver's license numbers,
- medical,
- demographic,
- financial details.
Network180's response involved immediate containment efforts, involving their IT department and an external forensics team, and reporting the incident to the FBI. To enhance security and prevent future breaches, Network180 has since implemented measures such as hiring cybersecurity staff and applying recommendations from forensic experts.
Affected individuals are being notified by Network180, and the organization is offering a complimentary 12-month credit monitoring service. For those who may not receive a notification letter, including unhoused or transient individuals, Network180 has posted a notice and FAQs on their website. Individuals who believe they are affected and haven't received a letter by March 21 are encouraged to contact Experian for assistance.
