The Park City school district in Utah is reporting student families of a computer security breach by an attack at a third party vendor Raptor Technologies'. The vendor provides school safety software, which is used by over 5,300 districts in the U.S. and more than 60,000 schools globally.
For the Park City school district, the breach exposed:
- names of students,

- names of guardians,
- names of staff,
- student identification numbers,
- transaction numbers,
- district identification numbers were accessible.
Park City school district claims that other information such as addresses, grades, schools, contact information, or photographs were not exposed. The school district has not disclosed the number of affected individuals.
