Ever Care Corporation, operating under the brand name Right at Home, is reporting a data breach caused by a ransomware attack.
The company detected unusual activity in its computer systems on September 3, 2025. The investigation confirmed that files containing sensitive information were stolen. The Sinobi ransomware group claimed responsibility for the incident on a dark web forum on October 8, 2025.
The hackers claim to have stolen approximately 50 GB of data. The types of stolen data allegedly include:
- Personal identifiable information (PII)
- Protected health information (PHI)
- Customer information
- Contract documents
The number of affected individuals is not disclosed.
The breach was formally disclosed to the Maine Attorney General on October 24, 2025. Ever Care Corporation is offering twelve months of complimentary single bureau credit monitoring, credit report access, and credit score services.
