The breach occurred due to unauthorized access to Scout Energy Partners’ network, which took place between January 10, 2024, and April 2, 2024. Tthe company secured its systems and conducted a thorough investigation with the help of cybersecurity experts. This investigation confirmed that sensitive consumer data had been accessed by the unauthorized party. Exposed data includes:

- Social Security numbers
