ABC Legal Services reports cybersecurity incident, data breach

ABC Legal Services, Inc., a Seattle-based legal solutions provider, is reporting a data breach that occurred on August 7, 2024.

The breach was detected on the same day. The company secured their network and engaged third-party cybersecurity experts to investigate the incident. ABC Legal Services contained the incident by August 8, 2024. The investigation confirmed that an unauthorized party had accessed and stolen confidential files from their network.

While the all types of compromised data are not disclosed, the company confirmed that Social Security numbers were among the exposed information. The number of affected individuals and the nature of the attack are not disclosed.

ABC Legal Services has sent out notifications and is offering complimentary credit monitoring services to affected individuals whose Social Security numbers were potentially impacted.
