The investigation confirmed that files with sensitive personal information had been accessed and stolen.

The exposed data includes:

  • Dates of birth
  • Physical addresses
  • Social Security numbers
  • Tax identification numbers
  • Other forms of personally identifiable information (PII)

The currently reported number of affected individuals is at least 1,843 residents of Texas. Ahtna has indicated that this figure is subject to change as the investigation continues and additional victims are identified across other states.

Ahtna has begun the process of directly notifying all affected individuals through mail and is offering affected individuals 12 months of complimentary credit monitoring and identity restoration services.
