Akira ransomware group is threatening to expose approximately 40GB of sensitive data supposedly stolen from TETRA Technologies, Inc., a diversified oil and gas services company.

The hackers claim to have stolen

  • birth certificates,
  • driver’s licenses,
  • confidential business agreements
  • non-disclosure agreements (NDAs).

TETRA Technologies has not issued an official statement confirming or denying the breach. The company’s public-facing website remains operational. Theattack may have targeted internal systems and didn't cause disruptions.
