Western Australia-based hydraulics company Pressure Dynamics has been hit by a  ransomware attack claimed by the DragonForce gang, resulting in the theft and publication of over 106 gigabytes of sensitive corporate and employee data on dark web leak sites. 

Pressure Dynamics operates as a specialized provider of hydraulic, lifting, and electro-mechanical integrity solutions across the Australian industrial sector, maintaining four offices in Western Australia, the Northern Territory, and Queensland.

The incident was reported on June 17, 2025 when DragonForce, listed Pressure Dynamics to its dark web leak site. The stolen information has been published and is accessible to other malicious actors for exploitation. Exposed data includes:

  • Engineering documentation and technical drawings of specialized equipment
  • Operations folders containing site and customer reports
  • Pathology and medical reports relating to company employees
  • Historical customer reports and project documentation
  • Internal corporate communications and operational data
  • Technical specifications and proprietary design information

The number of affected individuals is not disclosed.

Pressure Dynamics acknowledged the incident and confirmed that it has initiated contact with all staff and clients potentially impacted by the data breach. The company has also reported the incident to relevant Australian authorities, including cybersecurity agencies and law enforcement organizations responsible for investigating cybercrimes and protecting critical infrastructure.
