INC Ransomware gang claims responsibility for attack on OB-GYN Associates

OB-GYN Associates, a women's health practice based in Reno, Nevada, was allegedlyy hit by a cyberattack claimed by the ransomware group INC RANSOM.
The practice specializes in comprehensive women's healthcare services, including gynecological care, obstetrics, menopause management, and minimally invasive surgical procedures.
The attack allegedly breached the organization's computer systems, and the hackers stole patient data. The nature of the stolen data and the number of affected individuals has not been disclosed.
OB-GYN Associates has not yet released any public statement. As a HIPAA-covered healthcare entity, the practice will be required to make federal and state disclosures.
Update - as of 5th of November 2025, OB-GYN Associates, has confirmed the breach. The attack exposed sensitive patient information belonging to 62,238 individuals. The exposed data includes:
- First and last names
- Social Security numbers
- Driver's license numbers
- Medical information (including diagnoses, treatment histories, and clinical data)
- Bank account numbers
- Bank routing numbers
OB-GYN Associates is offering eligible affected individuals 12 months of complimentary credit monitoring services.
