Founded in 2014, the company has secured around $90 million in funding and collaborates with school districts to provide transportation solutions for students not covered by traditional bus routes or those requiring additional support.

The breach compromised a range of personal data, including:

  • driver license numbers,
  • non-driver identification card numbers.

The incident spanned from May 31, 2023, to June 10, 2023, and was initially identified on June 12, 2023, following suspicious activities in third-party applications used by HopSkipDrive. Despite the breach's scope, it was clarified that no employee or customer data was accessed.
