The Vitality Group reports MOVEit related data breach to Brookfield Employees

On June 30, 2023, the Vitality Group reported a data breach on behalf of Brookfield Asset Management.

The breach was caused by a the vulnerability in the MOVEit file transfer software used by Vitality, which allowed unauthorized access to sensitive information of certain Brookfield employees, including

  • names,
  • Social Security numbers,
  • other personal details.

After conducting an investigation, Vitality sent data breach notification letters to the affected Brookfield employees.
