On June 28, 2024, a hacker using the pseudonym "victim" on BreachForums claimed to have breached the in-game trading marketplace Traderie, a popular trading platform for Roblox.
The compromised database reportedly includes 392,270 user records, which were allegedly breached in 2022 but kept secret due to a financial agreement that Traderie failed to honor.
Claimed leaked data includes:
- Usernames
- Email addresses
- Passwords (hashed and salted)
- Dates of birth
- Physical addresses
- Phone numbers
- Transaction history
As of the disclosure, Traderie has not issued an official statement regarding the claimed breach. Previously, hackers claimed an attack of Traderie in September 2023. It's unclear whether the database in this claimed breach is related to that incident.
