City of Haysville reports hacked email spreading phishing and malware links

The City of Haysville, Kansas, experienced a cybersecurity incident where an official email account, specifically amillspaugh@haysville-ks.com, was compromised on the morning of February 12th, 2024.

This breach led to the unauthorized distribution of several emails containing a link to a docusend attachment from the compromised account, possibly phishing or malware.

City officials have advised recipients of these emails to disregard and delete them immediately.
