University of Louisville Health has reported that they were a victim to the widespread MOVEit related data breach, joining numerous other impacted organizations.
A spokesperson clarified that a limited number of UofL Health medical practices utilized MOVEit software to securely transfer patient data. The UofL Health doesn't disclose any details about the exposed data or number of affected individuals.
The breach was examined by forensic investigators, revealing that only a small portion of patients had certain details compromised within the files. The incident did not compromise UofL Health's network, electronic medical records databases, or normal operations.
The affected individuals have been notified in accordance with state and federal regulations.
